High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is stronger than low-density polyethylene (LDPE). This is due to the natural properties that me with each type of plastic. LDPE is naturally more flexible and has a lower melting point mpared to HDPE which is stronger, more rigid and can withstand more heat.
It can be cut with a carbide-tipped saw blade and drilled with regular metal bits. Translucent white. Rigid with good impact & abrasion resistance. Not UV stabilized.
